A Family-Run Crew in San Jose, CA

GW Remodeling & Handyman is a family business run by Wilmar Ventura and Lilia Fausto, based on N 13th St in San Jose, CA. We work across San Jose & the South Bay — 14 towns and neighborhoods from San Jose out to Gilroy and up the Peninsula to Redwood City.

We do ten things and we do them with one crew: kitchen and bathroom remodeling, whole-home renovations, handyman work, metal and wood fences, roof installation and repair, security camera systems, mini-split AC installation, drywall and painting, flooring, and residential and commercial construction. Keeping all of that in one team is the point — most of the delays on a small job come from waiting on somebody else's schedule, and that is the part we can actually control.

The way we work is simple enough to say in a sentence. We come out and look at the actual job. We give you a written price, free, before anything starts. We tell you honestly how many days it takes rather than the number you would rather hear. And if we find something behind a wall that changes the job, you hear it from us the day we find it — not on the final invoice.

We work in English and Spanish, whichever you are more comfortable in. That matters more than it sounds: a remodel is a long series of small decisions, and every one of them goes better when both sides understand exactly what was agreed.

Our hours are Mon–Sat: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, closed Sunday. Estimates are always free.
